Veritas et Honestas
Riepe College House, with their official motto, Veritas et Honestas, which translates to “Truth and Honor," is one of three First-Year Communities located within the historic Quadrangle. Featuring traditional dormitory-style living, Riepe residents live in either single or double rooms with community baths. Riepe staff love to share their passion for good food and good company. Boasting a warm environment that feels like home, students enjoy a variety of events from Comfort Food Dinners to Planet Sundae. Residents also are able to take advantage of the “baby quad,” a quaint corner within the large building, as well as the two newly renovated music practice rooms.
For the 2023-2024 academic year, Riepe will be closed for renovations. Riepe will reopen for Fall 2024 and will be available for the incoming student room selection process. For more information, click here.

Going Above and Beyond
Riepe is a place where first-year students can truly make themselves at home. With pool and ping pong tables located in the lounges and the baby quad right out front, Riepe is able to offer residents unique bonding opportunities during foosball and pool tournaments and picnics on the lawn. Riepe also has a student-run convenience store.

Riepe faculty and staff pride themselves on their welcoming spirit. Host to a calendar full of events with a nice mixture of home-cooked and catered comfort food dinners, study breaks, Sunday brunches, pancake breakfasts, outdoor picnics and barbecues. Riepe residents also participate in many off-campus events. Whether it is achieved through casual exchanges, at-home get-togethers or organized study groups, Riepe has a social ease that helps residents bond and thrive.
